United by a common goal to reduce suicide and improve mental health
Primary Goal
Primary Goal
Siloed efforts create fragmented systems, impacting their ability to access resources in times of need. This fragmented approach impacts recognizing and responding to individual’s needs, leading to disparities in our region that result in inequities in care.
There is no singular reason for suicide, and therefore, there cannot be a singular solution. Our vision is to generate upstream strategies to disrupt future trends in death by suicide in our community with an emphasis to uplift those groups most disproportionately impacted by lack of support and resources. We want to identify and illuminate the resources and work already occurring, create a cohesive tapestry of a community working together to address suicide prevention, and reduce deaths by suicide through enhanced and targeted strategies to equitably resource our community.
